Seeking Veterinarian in Rancho Peñasquitos, California

Veterinary Urgent Care – Rancho Peñasquitos

Job Description

🐾 Calling All Super-Vets! Rancho Peñasquitos Urgent Care Needs YOU! 🐾

Are you a Veterinarian with a love for adventure (and possibly coffee)? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where pets and people depend on your super-vet skills? If so, Rancho Peñasquitos Urgent Care has a cape and a stethoscope waiting for you!

We’re looking for an experienced Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD or equivalent) with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our fantastic team. Whether you’re a "tail-wagging pro" or have a purr-fect bedside manner, this is your chance to make an impact, save lives, and create strong connections with the local pet-loving community.

What’s in it for You?
💰 Competitive Pay: $150,000 - $180,000 annually, based on your preferred work schedule. Want to hustle more? We reward that. Need balance? We get that too!
📈 Growth Opportunities: If you’ve got the entrepreneurial spark, we’ve got the space for you to build and innovate alongside our growing practice.
🌟 Perks Galore:
• Generous CE allowance (never stop learning!)
• Full benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K… because humans need care too).
• License and liability coverage – we’ve got your back.
• Paid time off for when you need a break from being a superhero.
• Relocation assistance for the right candidate – let us help you move to sunny San Diego!
🐶 A Collaborative, Supportive Team: Work alongside passionate techs and support staff who have your back every step of the way.

🌟 Seamless Collaboration with Our Sister Hospital: We have the ability to transfer more emergent cases to our sister hospitals, VSH-Sorrento Valley and North County, ensuring your patients receive the highest level of care when needed.

Who Are You?
• A licensed CA DVM with at least 2 years of experience.
• You handle urgent cases like a pro – calm, cool, and collected.
• You’ve got that entrepreneurial drive to help grow a practice and bring fresh ideas to the table.
• You thrive in an urgent care environment, where every day is new and fulfilling.
• You value medical autonomy and embrace the freedom to provide the best care for your patients.
• You have a sense of humor, because let’s face it—animals do some weird stuff!

Why Rancho Peñasquitos?
Located in beautiful San Diego, Rancho Peñasquitos is where sun, surf, and sweet pets collide. Our urgent care is equipped with modern tools and technology, a strong team, and a loyal client base that will keep you smiling (and maybe occasionally shaking your head).
