Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Reports To: Senior Director of Finance

Department: Finance

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Sr Director of Finance, the Sr Analyst provides insight to business leaders to enable a shared understanding of results, with a focus on key drivers and trends to guide effective decision making.  Responsible for financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, and performing research and analysis to support decision making. The Sr Analyst must bring a servant leader mindset to help build and develop relationships in a fast paced and evolving workplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgeted targets and communicate variances through various reports and presentations
  • Assist in annual budget preparation and monthly forecast revisions, including ad hoc data analysis to support budget assumptions
  • Build data backed models to provide scenario analysis to assess the potential impact of various business decisions on financial outcomes
  • Prepare and distribute a set of standard monthly reports including variance analysis on a variety of P&L lines
  • Update various power BI dashboards on a monthly basis
  • Participate in working groups to evaluate current process and improve financial reporting
  • Partner with accounting to ensure timely and accurate month end close

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or other relevant field

·    3+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting in complex business environments.

  • Ability to work on multiple, complex projects concurrently
  • Expertise in MS Excel (Index-Match, Sum-If, Indirect, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), proven experience manipulating large sets of data efficiently
  • Expert at Analysis, strong history of analyzing data to propose changes which drives positive financial results
  • Excellent critical thinking and presentation skills; proven ability to dissect problems and develop/communicate solutions clearly, concisely, and completely
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities with strong experience interacting with and presenting to senior executives; exceptional communication (verbal and written) skills required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Ability to understand accounting entries
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines

Compensation: $60,000 - $100,000
