Senior Reporting Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Reporting Analyst to support our AP function in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Job Description:

Reporting & Data Analytics

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance AP reporting dashboards, metrics, KPIs, and scorecards (aging, working capital, throughput, automation rates, exception trends, backlog, vendor credit utilization, etc.)
  • Build analytical reporting logic using SQL, OTBI, FDI, PowerBI, or similar tools to support business insights
  • Own and optimize data models and reporting structures to support accurate and scalable analytics
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc analytics packages for AP and Finance leadership
  • Collaborate with IT technical teams to develop complex reports

AP Operations Support

  • Analyze invoice flow, processing cycle time, 3-way match performance, payment accuracy, and exception root-causes
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and performance gaps; deliver actionable recommendations to reduce costs and improve efficiency
  • Monitor vendor payment activities, early-pay discounts, payment terms, and vendor performance metrics
  • Support forecasting of cash requirements for payables and payment cycles.

Continuous Improvement & Automation

  • Lead reporting modernization initiatives, including automation, self-service dashboards, and report standardization
  • Optimize data pipelines, logic structures, and validation controls to ensure integrity and minimize manual reporting
  • Collaborate with AP Management to define KPI frameworks and build measurement systems that track operational success

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the reporting SME for AP—bridging communication between IT teams, operations, and AP leaders.
  • Partner with Finance, Procurement, and IT to design reporting solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Support audits, SOX compliance, and control documentation through data extraction and audit-ready reporting

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, information Systems or related field

·         5-7+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, Accounting or Analytics roles

  • Advanced proficiency in reporting tools and database query languages (OTBI, BI Publisher, Excel, FDI, PowerBI, SQL, DAX, VBA)
  • Strong understanding of AP workflows (PO/Non-PO, 3-way match, invoice exceptions, vendor data controls)
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into business insights and present findings to leadership
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Financials (Fusion) including Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)
  • Exceptional analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Must have exceptional communication skills to efficiently summarize complex topics and work with diverse teams
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of Financial Accounting and internal controls related to the procure to pay process with SOX 404 compliance experience

Compensation

The annual compensation range for the position is between $81,500 and $112,250 with opportunity for an annual bonus.
