Carver Street Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced veterinary technician or assistant to join our hospital on a full-time basis! Carver Street Animal Hospital is looking to add to our team! We are a well-established small animal practice that has served the Triangle area for well over 50-plus years. Our vibrant team provides high-quality medicine in both an efficient and enjoyable manner!

We are looking for a senior veterinary assistant or registered technician to join our hospital. Competitive salary and benefits package available, including CE allowances for RVTs or tech school students! Our ideal candidate has a background in venipuncture, IV catheterization, and surgery and/or dental experience. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of experience in the veterinary field (or related field) to be considered for this position. As our hospital is growing and adding new technologies, this candidate must be receptive to learning new programs and willing to collaborate to optimize our protocols!

This role's main responsibility is to provide high-quality medical and nursing care to our patients. This employee is responsible for providing optimal client service, educating our clients, acquiring, preparing, and performing laboratory samples, assisting in medical and/or surgical procedures, filling prescriptions, and maintaining medical records. Employee knowledge and experience are essential to providing an optimal experience for both our patients and clients!

We offer a competitive compensation package, including benefits. Wage is dependent on experience. Schedules vary from 30 to 40 hours a week, with a Saturday rotation every 4-6 weeks.
