About The Role:

We’re seeking a Social Media Specialist to own and execute day-to-day social media strategy across key platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, Reddit, LinkedIn, and emerging channels. This role is ideal for a hands-on, data-driven marketer who understands best practices for both brand storytelling and community engagement—and who’s excited about working in a mission-driven, healthcare-focused environment.

You’ll partner closely with brand, content, PR, and analytics teams to drive awareness, engagement, and advocacy at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage organic social media presence across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, and others
  • Create and publish engaging content (copy, visuals, short-form video) tailored to each platform’s best practices
  • Collaborate with internal creative, brand, and medical teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and brand voice consistency
  • Monitor conversations, comments, and messages; actively engage with audiences and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Partner with paid media teams to support and amplify organic campaigns
  • Track performance using platform analytics and third-party tools; report on KPIs and provide actionable insights
  • Stay current on platform trends, algorithm updates, and emerging social opportunities
  • Support community management initiatives, influencer partnerships, and campaign launches as needed

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, agency, or large organization
  • Proven experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Reddit (experience building audiences and increasing engagement strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices, content formats, and platform nuances
  • Experience analyzing performance metrics and translating data into strategy improvements
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences
  • Experience in healthcare, veterinary, consumer services, or regulated industries is a plus
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, native analytics)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on execution mindset
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for pets, animal health, and purpose-driven work
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to test, learn, and optimize

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a mission-driven organization improving veterinary care and animal health at scale
  • Build a brand that millions of pet owners and veterinary professionals engage with everyday
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits
  • Flexible work arrangements (remote or hybrid)
