About The Role:
We’re seeking a Social Media Specialist to own and execute day-to-day social media strategy across key platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, Reddit, LinkedIn, and emerging channels. This role is ideal for a hands-on, data-driven marketer who understands best practices for both brand storytelling and community engagement—and who’s excited about working in a mission-driven, healthcare-focused environment.
You’ll partner closely with brand, content, PR, and analytics teams to drive awareness, engagement, and advocacy at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and optimize social media strategies aligned with brand and business goals
- Manage organic social media presence across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, and others
- Create and publish engaging content (copy, visuals, short-form video) tailored to each platform’s best practices
- Collaborate with internal creative, brand, and medical teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and brand voice consistency
- Monitor conversations, comments, and messages; actively engage with audiences and escalate issues when appropriate
- Partner with paid media teams to support and amplify organic campaigns
- Track performance using platform analytics and third-party tools; report on KPIs and provide actionable insights
- Stay current on platform trends, algorithm updates, and emerging social opportunities
- Support community management initiatives, influencer partnerships, and campaign launches as needed
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, agency, or large organization
- Proven experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Reddit (experience building audiences and increasing engagement strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of social media best practices, content formats, and platform nuances
- Experience analyzing performance metrics and translating data into strategy improvements
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences
- Experience in healthcare, veterinary, consumer services, or regulated industries is a plus
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, native analytics)

The base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000-$90,000. Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The Company offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), and more depending on location.
