Location: Abraham’s Equine Reproduction Clinic, Marion Iowa

Schedule: Shifts could vary: M-F 8-5, M-F 6-3, W-Sun. 8-5, seasonal
Compensation: $15

Position Overview:
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Stall Cleaner / Barn Attendant to join our team. The candidate should be detail-oriented, comfortable working around horses and farm equipment and takes pride in keeping the barn clean and organized.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and bed horse stalls daily
  • Sweep and tidy barn aisles and work areas
  • Feed horses 
  • Turn horses in and out
  • Maintain cleanliness of the barn and feed areas
  • Assist with basic barn chores as needed
  • Mowing, trimming and maintaining the grounds
  • Operating farm equipment  - tractor, spreader, skid loader

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working around horses 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work outdoors in all seasons
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Positive attitude and attention to detail
