Position Title: AP Exceptions, Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise the Oracle Exceptions team to ensure timely resolution of invoice holds (e.g., quantity, price, receipt, tax and supplier exceptions)
• Monitor exception reports and dashboards daily to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions where needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely coding, matching, and entry of exception invoices in Oracle Cloud ERP.
• Partner with internal departments (Procurement, Accounting) to research and resolve exception-related issues.
• Develop and maintain SOPs related to exception handling, root cause analysis, and escalation procedures.
• Lead regular team meetings and one -on-ones to provide training, coaching, and Performance feedback.
• Generate and analyze KPI’s to drive process improvement, reduce exception rates, and improve payment cycle times.
• Serve as Key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors for exception-related matters.

• Participate in audits, system upgrades, and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
Reports to: Accounts Payable Manager
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
o Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to anticipate needs, take responsibility, prioritize, meet deadlines, and be resourceful and flexible, while meeting deadlines and maintaining absolute professionalism.
o Knowledge of GAAP and accounting fundamentals
o In Depth knowledge of Oracle, preferably Oracle Fusion but an older version is acceptable
o Proven ability to be a resourceful problem-solver and fast learner
o Strong attention to detail and ability to remain focused on the task at hand
o Strong verbal and written communication skills
o Excellent time management and organizational skills while working in a deadline-driven environment
o Team player
o Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Pro
• Preferred
o Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Accounts Payable and 5 years’ experience in Oracle
o Experience with Oracle fusion or Cloud
o High level of Proficiency in Excel
Location/Travel: This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days in office at our headquarters in Austin, TX. The team is also open to finding candidates who are located in Red Bank, New Jersey and Chelmsford, Massachusetts, where you would be working in a hybrid setting in a hospital setting.
Compensation: This position is a non-exempt, hourly role with the salary ranging from $62,000 to $90,000.
