Job Description

Chesapeake Veterinary Surgical Specialists (CVSS) is seeking a part-time or full-time individual who has completed a small animal surgical residency training to join our team of 8 board-certified small animal surgeons.  We currently have established practices in Annapolis, Columbia & Towson, MD.  Our practices complement a variety of progressive specialty teams at each location and include internal medicine, cardiology, emergency/critical care, neurology, ophthalmology, radiology, rehabilitation, and dentistry.


CVSS is a state-of-the-art, referral-only practice that features digital radiography, MRI, CT, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, Ligasure, TATE Elbow & THR. Our practice caseload is 50% orthopedics, 45% soft tissue, and 5% neurologic.

Our ideal candidate must have successfully completed a small animal residency training and plan to apply to take the ACVS certification examination if they are not already board-certified. Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide the highest level of patient care are expected.
