General Summary

Working directly with third party resources/vendor partners, ensures necessary technology infrastructure is deployed to sites in compliance with NVA technology standards and polices.  Creates TCO documents, BOM documents, and other necessary artifacts to ensure the proper and correct equipment is ordered and deployed to NVA sites to meet agreed to technology needs of NVA sites.  Provides escalated engineering support to vendor partners and acts as a liaison for vendor partners to other internal NVA technical resources.  Provides implementation hyper care support to vendor partners.  Ensure implemented technology is deployed to agreed requirements. 

Essential Job Functions

Primary Job Functions

  • Meet project management deadlines by coordinating and executing, through vendor partners, technology implementations in veterinary hospitals nationwide.
  • Attend stakeholder meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of project scope and requirements.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to identify technology needs.
  • Submit accurate and timely IT hardware orders for projects, ensuring availability and proper inventory management.
  • Coordinate with respected tech-stack owners to streamline project execution and deliver results efficiently.
  • Provide internal escalation support to field vendors as they implement technology at sites
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders involved in projects, providing regular updates, and addressing any concerns.
  • Manage onsite vendors as site hands, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise within the hospital environment, including network connectivity for modalities such as X-ray, dental, and ultrasound machines.
  • Demonstrate a broad understanding of IP addressing, server building, network configurations, and basic troubleshooting within an IT environment.
  • Uphold a professional and customer-centric approach, delivering white-glove service to our hospital staff.
  • Act as a point of escalation for issues or risks associated with the Field Services scope of work for NVA project sites. Contribute to post mortem project reviews and continually work towards improving efficiencies.
  • Contribute to purchasing and supply chain decisions that support the delivery of technology infrastructure. May include creating and leading RFP and RFQ processes.
  • Manage cross-department collaboration between key NVA stakeholders throughout the project life cycle. Key stakeholder would include but not be limited to construction teams, client services, executives and end-users.
  • Communicate as a client advocate while working with NVA customers and end-users ensuring customer delight

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in technology infrastructure and network design, build, and implementation.
  • Able to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of network topology
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and dashboard visualization tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to prepare and present executive level presentations and reports
  • Experience in Veterinary Services industry or Healthcare industry is big plus
  • Experience in hyper growth and fast scaling environments a plus

Experience/Education

  • 5+ years of experience in technology project management, infrastructure design and deployment.
  • 3+ years of experience leading a team of engineers in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor degree is preferred
Compensation - Compensation for this role will range from $125-145,000 with benefits
