Urgent Care Veterinarian – Valley Veterinary Emergency & Referral Center | Winchester, VA

Are you a GP vet ready to do more than vaccines and wellness checks, but not quite ready for life-or-death emergencies? Or maybe you’re an ER doctor looking to skip overnights but still eager to manage interesting, meaningful cases? If so, we’ve got the perfect fit for you.

Valley Veterinary Emergency & Referral Center (VVERC) is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our team in Winchester, Virginia!

🔍 About the Role:

This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys fast-paced medicine and problem-solving, but prefers to focus on non-critical cases, such as:

  • Limping, vomiting, ear infections, eye and skin issues
  • Minor wounds, lacerations, bite injuries
  • Acute but non-life-threatening conditions
  • Stabilization and follow-up care planning

You’ll work alongside skilled technicians, a cohesive ER/ICU team, and have access to specialty support from an on-call board-certified surgeon.

  • Up to $90K in total sign-on bonuses
