Job Description

About us:

Countryside Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Associate to join their collaborative team!  Countryside Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal veterinary facility offering services to the pets of Alachua County for over 25 years. We value our client relationships, respect the human-animal bond, and partner with our clients in treating their pets. Our skilled, tenured staff and technicians know each other well. They work as a cohesive team and support the unique needs of each doctor. We practice excellent GP care including wellness, surgeries, diagnostics, and have modern equipment including a new x-ray machine, dental x-ray, and laser therapy.

Where you come in:

We recently expanded our building and would like to grow our team.  We currently have a strong focus on dentistry and have 100% dental x-ray compliance. However, with our recently renovated and spacious building we welcome new doctors and their unique clinical interests.  We would support building a clientele in exotics, acupuncture, or other interests of your choice.  Our ideal candidate is a progressive and growth-oriented doctor with a compassionate and kind approach.  We welcome new or recent graduates and can provide mentorship.  We are offering competitive prosal compensation, sign on bonus, and comprehensive benefits package. There is no after-hours call and our doctors work 4 days a week and rotating half day Saturday.

About Alachua:

Alachua is a picturesque, peaceful, and close-knit community in Central Florida just north of the city of Gainesville. Fun fact - Did you know that we are known for the having largest grouping of natural springs in the US?  On the weekends, you will often find our team enjoying our many natural springs and rivers.  Swimming, hiking, and horseback riding are our favorite ways to enjoy our beautiful area.  We are also just minutes from Gainesville, one of the fastest growing cities in the US.  There you can find amazing arts, culture, and entertainment, and diverse shopping and dining.  Sports fans will enjoy college sporting events all year around at the University of Florida.  Being Centrally located in Florida also means you are just a couple hours’ drive to the beach on either coast, Orlando theme parks, or Tampa’s big city activities. We truly enjoy the best of both worlds, quiet small-town charm and the excitement and amenities of big cities.
