Job Description

Bismarck Animal Clinic and Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

 

Greetings!  Bismarck Animal Clinic and Hospital is a four-doctor, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital located in beautiful and flourishing Bismarck, ND.   We are in search of our fifth full-time doctor.  We are predominantly canine and feline however, one of our veterinarians also sees exotic and pocket pets. Our doctors have between 6-11 years of experience, and we enjoy collaborating on cases and supporting each other’s special interests as doctors. By only being open on weekdays, we are advocates for work/life balance.  


Our hospital utilizes:

- in-house chemistry and hematology equipment

-in-house urine sedivue 

-microbiology lab

-ultrasound

-digital body radiography

-digital dental radiography

-laser surgery

 -dedicated surgical suite

-dedicated dental suite

We share after-hours on call duty with another practice.  This results in each of our doctors taking on call duty approximately five to six weekends per year.  We use an answering service to refine the call volume that we receive.

Our hospital was the first small-animal exclusive hospital in Bismarck, ND and was established a little over 30 years ago by Dr. Gerald Buchholz.  We are honored to continue the legacy of kindness and high quality, progressive medicine that Dr. Buchholz established in our community.
