Job Description

The Ark Veterinary Clinic in Eugene, Oregon, seeks a  DVM to join our practice (Generous Signing Bonus!)

The Ark Veterinary Clinic is a well-established small animal practice in the heart of the Willamette Valley in Eugene OR. Founded in 1976, The Ark is a community cornerstone with a stellar reputation for practicing outstanding animal care.  The Eugene area and our client base is growing! We are looking for an enthusiastic DVM to join our 3 veterinarians and highly skilled support team.  The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in internal medicine and surgery, a strong desire to work in a hospital practicing progressive medicine, and leadership skills to help support and drive the medical team.  All of our veterinarians are encouraged to follow their areas of interest with continuing education and management support. Generous compensation/benefits package including 2 weeks’ vacation and sick days, continuing education and licensing package, health insurance, 401k, and more!

About the Hospital

·         Our building is spacious and comfortable, with separate areas for dog and cat clients.  We have a dedicated surgery suite and wet tables for dentals and other procedures.  We have a digital and dental x-ray, as well as in-house laboratory equipment 

·         Our senior doctors have a wide breadth of experience and are very willing to share their knowledge and discuss cases.  They are happy to assist and mentor new associates.  

·         We have a good relationship with the local specialists as well as the veterinary teaching college just to our North.
