The Back Cove Animal Hospital is looking to add an experienced associate veterinarian to our 6-doctor hospital in Portland. Come join us in our beautiful and modern facility just steps from the Back Cove Trail.

Our hospital has been thoughtfully designed to match our practice philosophy of maximizing employee, client and patient well-being and comfort. We are a paperless (cloud-based) practice equipped with digital radiology (including teleradiology reports for all imaging), a designated dental suite (with digital radiology), ultrasound (in-house unit and weekly specialist visits), therapeutic laser and full in-house laboratory. We practice the highest levels of surgical and anesthetic safety.

We are a "high-touch" practice focused on providing an exceptional client and patient experience and operate with 30-minute appointments. With a high staff to veterinarian ratio, our veterinarians are provided the time and support to focus on medicine and client communication.

Our veterinarians do not provide overnight or on-call services.

The ideal candidate has at least 5-years of experience working in a veterinary hospital, strong surgical and communication skills, and an interest in leadership.
