Associate Veterinarian - Back Bay Veterinary Clinic | Boston, Massachusetts

 

Back Bay Veterinary Clinic is excited to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to our newly renovated, well-equipped practice in the heart of Boston. This is a unique opportunity to join a GP+ hospital that values thorough case workups, collaboration, and flexibility in how you practice medicine.

 

We proudly care for dogs, cats, and exotics, and we are open to tailoring the role based on your clinical interests. Whether you enjoy surgery and dentistry or prefer an appointments-only role, we are happy to build a position that aligns with your strengths and career goals.

  • GP+ medicine with strong in-house capabilities:
    • Abdominal ultrasound
    • Echocardiography
    • Surgery and dentistry

  • Highly skilled support staff, including a higher-than-average CVT-to-non-CVT ratio

Schedule Expectations

  • Minimum of one closing shift per week
  • One Saturday per month (with preference for additional Saturday availability)

 

Compensation & Growth

  • Base salary: $140,000–$155,000
  • Total earning potential: $185,000+ annually with production
  • Production model designed to support high-quality medicine and sustainable growth
  • Sign-on and Relocation Bonus

Who We’re Looking For

  • A veterinarian who values client communication, teamwork, and practicing quality medicine
  • Interest in GP+ care and working cases up in-house
  • Open to clinicians with interests ranging from surgery and dentistry to appointments-only medicine
  • Experience with exotics is a plus, but not required
