We are looking for an eager, passionate and kind individual to join our team of DVMs.

Newport Animal Hospital and its satellite locations serve communities along the beautiful southeastern Rhode Island coast. Our practice consists of a 12,100 sq. ft. hospital in Middletown, which includes a separate inpatient wing, (with full surgical suite two complete dentistry and oral surgery stations) and a boarding facility. Close by are our clinics, located in Newport and Jamestown. These sites offer a charming, more personal environment. All sites are linked real-time. Equipment includes DR radiography and dental radiography, GE Versana Premier Ultrasound, in-house blood chemistry and hematology, infusion pumps, state-of-the-art multi-parameter anesthetic monitors, portable sphygmomanometers, class IV therapy laser and Tonovet.

We are dedicated to our patients and to each other. We focus on teamwork and mentorship-- we have a dedicated technician training manager and an established DVM mentorship program. We have many people on staff who started their career in vet med in our boarding facility, and are now surgical technicians, DVMs, even Hospital Managers! We encourage continuing education, and both organize and sponsor opportunities for our DVMs and our support staff. Our team is smart, skilled, dedicated and always looking to do their best-- and we truly care about each other.

Our doctor staff is enthusiastic and excels not only clinically, but also at teamwork and client communication. The practice is also affiliated with a boarded cardiologist and internal medicine specialist. Specialties and passions among our DVM team include dentistry, orthopedics, (including TTA), canine reproduction, and acupuncture.

Our locations are walking distance from the ocean. Newport has endless history, dining and fun both day and night! From Cliff Walk and the mansions, to local breweries and wineries, to gardens and hiking, to sailing and harbor cruises, to live music nightlife, to dining by the sound of the sea watching the sunset... we live and work in the center of a vibrant and joyful community.
