New Baltimore Animal Hospital located in Warrenton, VA, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team.

At New Baltimore Animal Hospital, we strive to provide a pleasant and fun workplace while delivering exceptionally high quality, empathetic veterinary medicine. We have been proudly AAHA accredited since 1992. Our team currently includes 3 doctors as well as a fabulous support staff. We primarily service cats and dogs, but we are happy to help small mammals, birds, reptiles and wildlife to the best of our abilities. We have been serving Fauquier County since 1982 in our well-equipped hospital. Our team’s top priorities are to treat our patients and to help educate our clients regarding all aspects of pet health and preventative care. We are excited to add another doctor to our caring team of veterinary professionals.


About the Hospital:

• Four-day work week

• No Weekends

• No Emergency Call

• Modern building with 4 exam rooms, a treatment area, and surgery suite.

• In-house lab with Catalyst and Procyte blood machines as well as fecal, UA, and various ELISA tests.

• In-house ECG

• Digital radiography—both standard and dental

• Ultrasound

• Ultrasonic dental scaler, electrosurgery unit

• Isoflurane and Sevoflurane anesthesia with full Cardell monitoring including EtCO2, bp, pulse oximetry and ECG. ADS 2000 ventilator.

• Large well-stocked in-house inventory and Online Pharmacy

• Laser Therapy

• Extraordinary continuing education benefits for all doctors, LVTs and support staff.

Skills and Basic Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Virginia.
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to perform a variety of veterinary procedures, including surgeries and dentistry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to animal care.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
