Premier Veterinary Medical Group in Rockville Centre, NY is hiring a General Practice/Urgent Care Veterinarian!

Our hospital is a newly relocated 9,000 square 24-hour staffed GP and urgent care hospital located in Rockville Centre, NY. Premier Veterinary Medical Group seeks a full-time General Practice Veterinarian to join our practice. Our unique system of delivering outstanding veterinary care begins with providing convenient animal clinic locations throughout Nassau and Queens Counties.

The ideal candidate will have veterinary experience in general practice and urgent care. We are interested in candidates who are collaborative, friendly and compassionate. About Premier Veterinary Medical Group

Clinic Features:

  • Modern building with seven exam rooms, fully equipped treatment area with two Aeolus intensive care units, treatment area with 7 treatment tables, two surgical suites, a dental suite, two isolation wards, fear free waiting rooms, and a spacious employee break room.
  • Fully AAHA-accredited
  • General Practice, urgent care, surgery, advanced diagnostics and treatment services, pain management, dentistry, and medical boarding
  • Digital radiography (including dental radiography), ultrasonography, and electrocardiography.
  • Idexx In-house laboratory machines provide serum chemistry, hematology, serology, Idexx in house cortisol reader, two Imagyst machines, Antech/IDEXX laboratories with multiple daily pick-ups used for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
  • Fully stocked in-house pharmacy
  • Impromed Infinity Software

Skills and Qualifications:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
Licensure in good standing to practice in New York
Works collaboratively with hospital team members
Makes decisions confidently and effectively
Manages time and tasks appropriately
Models a professional and kind manner with staff and clients
