Kitsap Veterinary Hospital is hiring an Associate Veterinarian.

  • Our hospital has been AAHA accredited for over 20 years.
  • We are currently a three-doctor canine/feline clinic with a strong focus on preventative care and high-quality medicine. 
  • We care about work life balance. Our associate doctors can work 3-day work weeks and be full time (we do cover for each other's vacations).
  • We enjoy having several 24-hour emergency facilities and specialty centers nearby so we do not do on-call and can easily refer. We also have a boarded radiologist and cardiologist who visit our clinic on a routine basis.
  • We apply Fear Free techniques and try to provide a Fear Free environment for our patients. 
  • We have an amazing support staff with a high staff to doctor ratio that allows our veterinarians to concentrate on medicine & surgery.
  • We have a mix of long-term established clientele and welcome new clients continuously. We value the relationships we build with our patients and clients.
  • We have digital radiography, high end ultrasound, in house blood machines, ultrasonic dental scaler, digital dental radiography, cold therapy laser, surgical theater, separate cat and dog wards, and more.

Compensation Overview:

  •       SALARY PLUS Compensation Model:
    •  Guaranteed Annual SALARY paid month to month (range $120,000 - $130,000 depending on experience)
    • PLUS Monthly Production Bonus (we are paying your guaranteed salary UP FRONT and then you have the ability to produce up to and beyond this salary minimum. The additional revenue produced will qualify you for a production bonus based on a percentage rate of 21%-22%.)
  • ·       Signing Bonus Package:
    • Sign on Bonus will be paid at start date ($5,000-$10,000)
    • Relocation Bonus Package ($5,000 - $10,000)
  • ·       New Grad Benefits
    • Regional Next Level Mentorship Program for all New Grads for year one.
    • $15,000 Tuition Assistance Bonus to newly graduated veterinarians who commit to a contract by the end of 2024.
    • $5,000 CE for newly graduated veterinarians who commit to a contract by end of 2024.
    • Referral Program Eligibility – Once you sign with us, if you refer “a friend” you can earn an additional $10,000.

    • Minimum 2 weeks (12 days)

    • 3-4 days a week (10-hour shifts) – counts as full time

    • Annual stipend for CE of your choice ($2,500 - $3,000)
