Job Description

The greater Naples / Ft. Myers area is looking for a skilled and motivated Veterinarian with a passion for leadership.

The Medical Director / Managing Veterinarian (MDVM) provides medical leadership for the hospital, manages associate veterinarians, and ensures compliance with veterinary regulations. This role is responsible for fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment where quality medicine and exceptional client care are consistently delivered.

In partnership with the Hospital Manager, the MDVM oversees financial performance, operational efficiency, and staff development, helping to cultivate a supportive and collaborative workplace. The hospital team is supported by South Florida-based Divisional Leadership, providing training, reporting, and resources to help build a best-in-class practice. MDVMs also have the opportunity to network and learn from peers in similar roles across nearby veterinary clinics.

Skills and Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a DVM
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university. 
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in FL.
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
