McAbee Veterinary Hospital in beautiful Winter Park, FL is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team!


McAbee Veterinary Hospital is a small animal practice with a growing team located in beautiful Winter Park, FL.  We have been trusted for over 60 years to offer high quality and progressive medical, dental, and surgical care to a devoted community following. Our experienced team of collaborative doctors and skilled support staff make the hospital an outstanding place to practice excellent medicine and for mentorship of newer veterinarians. We are growing and seeking to add an Associate Veterinarian to our team!


Our Staff: We are team oriented with a focus on collaboration with frequent open discussions and communication regarding patient care and cases. Our highly skilled staff are seasoned and knowledgeable, including trained surgical and dental technicians. Our dedicated technical team ensure individualized attention to our patients and clients.


Schedule and culture: Flexibility and a balanced schedule are important to us!  We offer prompt care scheduling daily, so the pressure is off, and you are able to focus on your scheduled cases. We value your time away from work, so you can enjoy downtime with your families, our amazing city, and travel.  While at work, we have fun celebrating each other’s milestones during our monthly staff meetings that include team building to keep our staff learning and growing.  Above all, we value open and honest communication.

Winter Park is an upscale suburban city in the Orlando area.  McAbee Veterinary Hospital is 10 minutes from Park Ave’s premier shopping and dining.  The area hosts art shows, festivals, and concerts throughout the year.  There is a variety of housing nearby including suburban homes in Winter Park or nearby Oviedo or modern lofts in Maitland, Baldwin Park, Milk District, and College Park.  Winter Park’s chain of lakes offers boating, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing. East Coast beaches are less than hour drive. And of course, there is endless entertainment in Orlando, including Disney Springs, Disney theme parks, Epcot Center, and Universal Studios.
