Poulsbo Marina Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a 6th Part Time or Full Time Associate Veterinarian to our team

  • Five awesome veterinarians who practice high-quality canine and feline general practice medicine and collaborate on cases, sharing ideas, and supporting each other through clinical decisions.
  • Our medical director has 18 years of general practice and emergency medicine experience, with a love of mentoring and special interests in soft tissue surgery and dentistry/oral surgery
  • Two DVM Moms- We help minimize the challenges of balancing work and children.
  • Team of 26 dedicated support staff, including five licensed veterinary technicians
  • Utilization of veterinary scribes to help improve accuracy of patient records and minimize after hours record writing for our veterinarians
  • Heavily focused on fear-free techniques with pre-visit pharmaceuticals and ALL the cheese whiz!
  • Well equipped with in-house IDEXX lab equipment, digital standard/dental radiography, Doppler BP, Tonometer, Cardell multi-parameter monitors, Esaote diagnostic ultrasound, and Bovie cautery unit
  • Exceptional reputation with new clients requesting to join our practice daily
  • Nearby 24-hour emergency facilities and specialty centers- we do not provide on-call or after-hours care and can easily refer when needed

·       We are located on the Kitsap Peninsula in Washington State. Bounded on one side by the Hood Canal and the other by the Puget Sound, this part of Western Washington is full of Pacific Northwest beauty, including water views and several mountain ranges.

·       The immediate area offers hiking, biking, sailing, kayaking, and many other outdoor opportunities.

·       Poulsbo has multiple award-winning microbreweries and a fun Norwegian-themed downtown with many fun community events.

WHAT WE OFFER:


  • ·       Part-Time or Full-time employment; currently open 8am-6pm Mon-Sat
  • ·       Two to Four 10-hour/day work week, but open to considering other options per your needs

  • ·       Salary Plus Compensation Structure (Guaranteed Salary of $110,000 - $130,000 depending on experience; 21% production payout on any additional production you earn paid monthly)
