Veterinarian - Surgeon

Coffee Road Animal Hospital

Job Description

Coffee Road Animal Hospital in Bakersfield, California, is seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian - who loves SURGERY.

Who We Are Looking For: We are looking for a part-time veterinarian with a passion for surgery — primarily basic soft tissue procedures, with a strong proficiency in spays and neuters of all sizes. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to expand into more advanced surgical procedures as the role develops. This new teammate will collaborate closely with our leadership team and will have all the equipment, staff support, and collaboration needed to practice the medicine they love.

About Our Team: Coffee Road Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital and will take both emergency cases as well as less urgent medical, surgical, and dental issues.  Beyond first rate pet care, we make our clinic a comfortable, kid-friendly environment so your patients can relax in the waiting room, and look forward to meeting his or her own Bakersfield veterinarian.

The Offer:

·         $100–$150/hour + depending on experience and surgeries performed

·         Flexible scheduling

·         Opportunity to perform advanced surgical procedures (cystotomy, splenectomy, and more)

·         Full Benefits (health, vision, dental) & 401K with 3% match

Our Clients: We serve a large and compliant client base, which allows us to provide high-quality medical care. Our clients are receptive to best practices as well as advanced treatments and procedures.
