Job Description

Alta Mesa Animal Hospital is a collaborative, small‑animal practice in Mesa, Arizona, serving dogs and cats with a strong emphasis on dentistry, surgery, and preventive care.  We are growing and seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our supportive, team‑oriented environment.




About the Practice

  • Modern facility with 5 exam rooms, including a comfort room
  • Digital dental and full‑body radiography
  • In‑house IDEXX lab (ProCyte, Catalyst, SNAP, Sedivue)
  • Ultrasound
  • Dedicated surgery days with a dental focus
  • No boarding or grooming
  • High client compliance and growing wellness plan participation

The Role

  • Provide high‑quality medical, surgical, and dental care
  • Build strong client relationships through clear communication
  • Collaborate closely with doctors and support staff
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Support staff development and continued learning
  • This role will split time between Alta Mesa Animal Hospital and Brown Road Animal Clinic.



Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary of $115,000 - $140,000 (depending on experience) 
  • Opportunity for production-based bonuses 
  • Up to $10,000 signing bonus

Qualifications

  • DVM from an AVMA‑accredited program (or ECFVG/PAVE)
  • Arizona veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
  • Team‑oriented, growth‑minded, and client‑focused
  • Open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians
