At Dove Mountain Veterinary Hospital, we practice high‑quality, progressive medicine in a modern, well‑equipped environment.  Our AAHA‑accredited, Fear Free, and Feline Friendly hospital in Marana, Arizona is looking to add an experienced Associate Veterinarian to our 5‑doctor team.

About Our Hospital

Dove Mountain Veterinary Hospital is a busy, well‑respected small animal practice offering comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care.


Hospital features include:

  • 8 exam rooms, including a dedicated comfort room
  • Fully equipped surgical suite
  • Separate dental surgery area
  • Digital radiology & digital dental radiography
  • Ultrasound & therapeutic laser
  • In‑house IDEXX laboratory (ProCyte, Catalyst, inVue, SNAP readers, Sedivue)
  • AAHA accredited
  • Feline Friendly certified
  • Majority of staff Fear Free certified



Schedule & Work‑Life Balance

We are intentional about creating a schedule that supports quality medicine without burnout.

  • 30‑minute appointments - average ~15 appointments per doctor per day
  • Drop‑offs and walk‑ins are seen at doctor discretion
  • Surgery is performed Monday–Friday with designated surgery days
  • Hospital hours:
    • Monday–Friday: 7:00am–6:00pm; Saturday & Sunday: 7:00am–5:00pm
  • Flexible scheduling options
    • Doctors can choose preferred shifts - some doctors finish as early as 3:00–4:30pm

This structure allows for consistency, flexibility, and the ability to maintain a healthy balance between professional and personal life.




Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking an associate who values teamwork, communication, and high‑quality patient care.

  • Ideally 2+ years of experience in a GP setting
  • Strong communication and client‑service skills
  • Positive, collaborative mindset



Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive compensation: $125,000–$150,000 base salary, depending on experience
  • Opportunity for production‑based bonuses
  • Up to $10,000 signing bonus
