Job Description

River Road Pet Clinic is a well-established small animal practice that has served the Tucson community for more than 30 years.  We are a dog & cat only hospital with long‑standing client relationships and a strong reputation for thoughtful, high‑quality medicine.  We're looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team!  



Team & Practice Environment


River Road Pet Clinic is supported by a collaborative & reliable team.  We maintain a 2:1 technician‑to‑doctor ratio, allowing doctors to stay focused on medicine while being well supported throughout the day.


Our support staff includes technicians actively working toward credentialing and veterinary assistants who are cross‑trained to assist with client service as needed.  The culture is positive, steady, and respectful — a team that works well together and values humor, communication, and shared responsibility.


Practice resources include:

  • Three exam rooms, including a dedicated comfort room
  • Surgical suite with one surgical table and designated surgery days
  • Dedicated dental space within treatment
  • Digital full‑body and dental radiography
  • IDEXX in‑house lab suite (ProCyte, Catalyst, InVue, Sedivue, SNAP readers)
  • ScribbleVet AI for efficient medical documentation
  • Visiting surgeon for orthopedic procedures

Our setup supports efficient workflows while maintaining a calm, organized environment for both staff and clients.



Compensation & Benefits


Compensation:

  • Base salary: $110,000 – $135,000 depending on experience
  • Opportunity for production-based bonuses 
  • Sign‑on bonus up to $10,000
