Job Description

Hanford Veterinary Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team!

Hanford Veterinary Hospital has been a part of the Hanford community for 75 years. We are a 3-doctor progressive practice. We have been AAHA accredited since 1972 and the only AAHA accredited hospital in Kings County. We are willing to provide mentorship to new graduates and encourage graduates to seek further development in their areas of interest.   

Our new 8,000 square foot, state of the art facility allows us to provide emergency services during normal operating hours, as well as, soft tissue, orthopedic, and dental surgery. In house IDEXX lab equipment and ultrasound is available to allow for advanced diagnostics. Veterinarians at our practice routinely manage complex internal medicine, cardiac, and dermatology cases. Veterinarians also can utilize acupuncture, chiropractic, laser therapy and cryotherapy on site.

  • Salary range of $110K-140K+ pending experience
  • Up to $50,000 in bonuses (based on experience level)

About Hanford, CA:

Hanford is located in the San Joaquin Valley of California and is conveniently only 45 minutes from the Fresno-Yosemite International airport.  Hanford is approximately 1 ½ hours from Sequoia National Forest, Yosemite National Park, and the famous California Central Coast including wine country. We are 3 hours from both San Francisco and Los Angeles.  Hanford has a small-town feel with the amenities of larger cities.

Qualifications:

Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA-accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program
