South Temecula Veterinary Hospital in Temecula, CA is seeking an Associate DVM to join our practice


Established in 2007 by a solo doctor, South Temecula Veterinary Hospital has grown into a thriving multi-doctor practice that has been providing care in the community for over 15 years. We provide comprehensive health care, surgical and boarding services 7 days a week and are closed most major holidays. We pride ourselves on providing individualized service, exceeding medical standards, and allowing the flexibility for each doctor to practice with flexible protocols.


Our team is supportive and extremely experienced. Upon joining, you can expect to have a 3:1 veterinary support staff to doctor ratio, including multiple RVTs. The culture of our practice is grounded in teamwork and collaboration. At South Temecula, your voice will be heard!


This is a great opportunity for new graduates. Upon joining our team, you will be receiving dedicated and thoughtful mentorship spearheaded by Dr. Beth Sperka, our Managing DVM.

 

About the hospital:


·       Average veterinary support staff to doctor ratio of 3:1

·       Newest version of Avimark, paper-light practice; new hardware and phone system

·       4 exam rooms

·       In-house hematology analyzers: IDEXX ProCyte Dx, Catalyst DX, SnapShot DX, and Coag DX

·       Microscopy & in-house cultures

·       IDEXX digital radiography

·       IDEXX telemedicine services including radiology consults, ECG, and ultrasound

·       Isoflurane anesthesia with SpO2, ECG, BP, and ETCO2 monitoring

·       Two dental stations with digital dental radiography

·       Dedicated surgery suite

·       Mobile specialists in area including: orthopedic and soft-tissue surgery, ultrasound; other nearby specialty hospitals for referrals that cannot be accommodated in-house

·       Clinic remodeled! We will be adding more exam rooms, revamping our surgery suite and dental rooms as well as adding on more office space for our doctors!


What we have to offer:


·       Great work life balance: our doctors work an average of 4.25-days per week and 8-hour days (including a lunch break!). Weekends are rotated: two Saturdays and one Sunday per month, on average.
