Associate Veterinarian – East Ventura Animal Hospital | Ventura, CA

You'll be joining a close-knit, four-doctor team in a completely renovated, modern facility equipped with everything you need to practice exceptional medicine — from in-house IDEXX diagnostics and digital dental X-ray to a dedicated surgery suite and new Core Imaging Ultrasound. We're paper-light, forward-thinking, and genuinely invested in doing great work together. Team activities (such as painting nights and escape rooms) aren't just perks — they're a reflection of who we are.


The Role:

As an Associate Veterinarian, you'll be an integral part of a collaborative, multi-doctor practice where quality medicine and exceptional client service are at the heart of everything we do. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality surgical and medical care with the full support of an experienced team behind you
  • Working within established medical protocols while being encouraged to grow and develop your clinical skills
  • Partnering with a dedicated technical team at an exceptional 2:1 tech-to-doctor ratio
  • Caring for a wonderfully diverse patient base including dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, small mammals, and more — keeping every day interesting
  • Building meaningful relationships with clients in a warm, family-oriented practice where people genuinely love their pets

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary: $120,000–$140,000 DOE

  • 4.5-day work week — Saturday afternoons and Sundays always off

Qualifications:

Candidates must be a graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary college, or have successfully completed the ECFVG or PAVE certification programs.
