Ruskin Animal Hospital is looking for a dedicated Veterinarian to join our team! We offer work-life balance and a flexible schedule, along with up to $25,000 in bonuses comprised of a sign-on bonus, retention bonus, and relocation bonus.


Located just 30 minutes south of Tampa, our small animal general practice has been caring for the pets of South Shore residents since 1971. We are proud to have been voted the best veterinarian in the South Shore area! In addition to providing exceptional medical care, our clinic features an in-house pharmacy. Our Cat Thyroid Center has gained regional and national recognition for its pioneering work in treating feline hyperthyroidism. Since its opening in 1999, we have successfully treated over 3,800 cats from across the country and beyond.

Skills and Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience working as a veterinarian.
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university 
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which the applicant is to be employed 
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics

Compensation: 

  • $130-160K base salary depending on experience
  • This position is eligible for production-based bonuses
  • Up to $25,000 in bonuses comprised of a sign-on bonus, retention bonus, and relocation bonus.
