Braden River Animal Hospital, located in Bradenton, FL, is hiring! We’re part of a close-knit team that includes our sister hospital, North River Animal Hospital in Parrish, FL. Across both locations, we have a team of 8 dedicated doctors, offering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

About Our Hospital:

  • 5-doctor practice
  • Large support team with 2-2.5 technicians per DVM
  • 7 exam rooms
  • Wellness exams, preventative medicine, and vaccinations
  • CO2 surgical laser and therapeutic laser
  • Digital full-body X-ray
  • Full dentistry suite with digital dental radiography
  • In-house diagnostic testing
  • Diverse caseload: routine surgeries, complex procedures, and urgent care
  • Pet hospitalization available during the day
  • Clinical trial research and early adoption of emerging medications
  • In-house and online pharmacy
  • Palliative care and end-of-life support
  • Paper-lite system
  • Excellent work-life balance: NO on-call or after-hours duties, currently closed on Saturdays and Sundays

Skills and Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a veterinarian in a clinical setting.
  • An individual skilled and efficient in surgery.
  • Can provide outstanding patient care and exceptional customer service.
  • Has a natural ability to lead and collaborate with a diverse team, contributing to a positive work environment while encouraging growth and development.
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university 
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which the applicant is to be employed

Compensation:

  • Base Salary up to $150K depending on experience
  • This position is eligible for production-based bonuses
  • Bonuses comprised of a sign-on bonus, retention bonus, and relocation assistance if applicable.
