Chastain Animal Clinic has proudly served the Smyrna community since 1954, building lasting relationships with generations of pet owners through compassionate care and high-quality medicine. Now, we're excited to continue that legacy in our brand-new, 6,500-square-foot hospital, opened in 2025.

We're looking for an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys practicing collaborative medicine, values teamwork, and wants to be part of a positive, supportive culture. Our Brand-New Hospital

Designed with both patients and veterinary professionals in mind, our modern facility includes:

  • Approximately 6,500 square feet of thoughtfully designed space
  • Separate dog and cat waiting areas for a low-stress experience
  • 2 dedicated feline exam rooms with a feline treatment area
  • 8 canine exam rooms
  • Comfort room with a private exit for compassionate end-of-life care
  • Isolation room with separate entrance and exit
  • 2 fully equipped surgical suites
  • Dedicated dental suite with 2 wet tables
  • Spacious treatment area with abundant kennel space
  • Digital radiography
  • Digital dental radiography
  • Ultrasound for FAST scans
  • Full anesthetic monitoring equipment
  • Phovia laser therapy
  • IDEXX in-house laboratory and reference lab services

What We're Looking For

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Georgia
  • A compassionate, client-focused approach to medicine
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Interest in practicing high-quality, collaborative medicine
  • New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
