Full-time Associate Veterinarian opening at Oswego Animal Hospital located in Oswego, IL.


Oswego Animal Hospital is a State of the Art practice in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. We are seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our fun, hardworking, compassionate team. Our practice stresses high-quality medicine and surgery in our full-service facility. We are a great learning environment to expand your education past graduation. Our veterinarians specialize in compassionate, progressive small animal veterinary medicine. In addition to comprehensive wellness care, we provide specialized care in orthopedics, pet rehabilitation, and acupuncture. Our team of veterinarians includes doctors who have special training with avian and exotic pets, and all of our vets are skilled in managing and treating shelter animals.

Our vets have appeared on all major networks (ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX) including Good Morning America and Animal ER Live on Nat Geo Wild! We strive to provide high-quality medical and surgical services in state-of-the-art facilities while also offering a broad spectrum of services to make our hospitals a true one-stop shop for the needs of the pets in our communities. 


In addition to our myriad medical and elective services, adoption is an area of pet care that is near and dear to our hearts. our hospital donates time and space to Help Save Pets Humane Society, a non-profit rescue organization that works with multiple animal hospitals to find forever homes for deserving pets. 

For new graduates, this position will be included in the NVA Illinois Mentorship Program. In this program, our ADVMs will have access to:
  • One-on-one surgical and medical support from Dr. Sandra Faeh, current VP of AVMA, an NVA practice owner, and Illinois Mentor
  • Suite of wellness programming focusing on stress management and cultivating a balanced approach to your life
  • Cohort of other new graduate ADVMs in Illinois with planned social events, team bonding, and engagement, regardless of current clinic worked in
