Forest Glen Animal Hospital is moving into an exciting new chapter with fresh Medical Director leadership and a strong foundation already in place! Our Practice
- Established in 1963 in the Jefferson Park / Forest Glen area of Chicago
- AAHA-accredited and AAFP cat friendly hospital in a modern facility
- Newly promoted Medical Director, Dr. Jordan Whitfield, has been with the team for years and brings fresh leadership momentum for the hospital’s next phase of growth
- Loyal, highly compliant clients who support preventive care, chronic case management, and diagnostic workups
- 5,000 square foot hospital with 5 exam rooms and an open layout for collaboration
- Closed on weekends
Our Current Opening
- Best suited for a veterinarian with 3 to 5 years of clinical experience and enjoys working with others who are forward-thinking
- The opportunity to be part of a team shaping the future of the hospital
- Interest in client education (in-person and on social media) or community outreach is a plus
- Our dentistry caseload is consistently busy and can include advanced cases like level 2 and 3 extractions
Our Facility
- Large treatment area and isolation room
- Bright surgical suite with one large surgery area and two surgery tables
- Advanced dentistry setup with digital dental x-ray
- Ultrasound with GE Versana and digital radiographs
- In-house blood work diagnostics and large in-house pharmacy
Schedule
- 4 days per week
- Closed on weekends
- Open 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with non-DVM staff available until 7:00 for med pickup
Compensation
- ProSal compensation with eligibility-based production bonuses
- Base salary: $120,000 to $130,000
- Compensation packages are created based on a variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, clinical skills, and interests.
