Hybrid Opportunity: General Practice/Urgent Care


Our hospital is a progressive and advanced small animal hospital located just a few minutes outside of Baltimore and Annapolis. We are looking for a doctor who is looking for a past-paced urgent care/general practice environment to join our collaborative and compassionate 7 doctor and 55 support staff team who shares our same goal of providing a high standard of care!


About the opportunity:

  • Combination of urgent care and general practice caseload
  • Full-time
  • Schedule: 8am - 3pm two days a week, 1pm - 8pm two days a week
  • 3 weekend days a month

Our 3,500 square foot facility includes:

·         9 exam rooms

·         2 full surgery suites

·         1 Dental suite (2 tables) and dental x-ray

·         Pharmacy

·         ISO

·         ICU and a separate Feline ICU

·         Cutting Laser

·         Cold Laser

·         New X-ray unit

·         Ultrasound

·         Full In-house Lab

·         FT Groomer

·         In room check out

·         Paper light practice

·         Shared DVM Office

·         Spacious waiting room for our clients

·         Large treatment area to include a pre-op area and kitchen for hospital boarders

·         Boarding for approximately 100 canines and 20 felines in addition to playroom, kitchen and bathing room


We prioritize creating a healthy work environment! Schedules are set several weeks in advance including rotating weekends. Our team of doctors work together if any schedule changes are needed. A trained member of our Medical Support Team provides supervision to hospitalized overnight patients which allows for limited and rotating on-call. We strive to always maintain a positive work culture.


We offer:

·         115,000 - $140,000 base salary, depending on experience
