North State Animal Hospital, located in Jackson, MS, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our practice!

North State Animal Hospital is a well-established hospital serving Jackson and the surrounding area for over 50 years. We are a busy, 2.5 doctor practice in the metro-Jackson area. We focus primarily on the care of companion animals. We highly value the human-animal bond, and it is our mission to work as a team to ensure that bond is strong by offering outstanding education, care, and service. We pride ourselves on offering the best service for our clients and going above and beyond for each patient.

Our team is like a family and very supportive of one another. We have a collaborative culture among our doctors. Our seasoned staff members have stayed with our practice year after year. We all pitch in - no task is too small. Our doctors offer mentorship that allows you to see your own patients while still having the support and guidance you need. We welcome new ideas and will support a doctor's unique career interests! We know that work life balance is incredibly important and support one another in order to maintain this balance. We currently offer a 4-day work week with rotating Saturdays, with no on-call!

Our ideal candidate:
We are interested in a passionate DVM who is interested in contributing to a collaborative team. While two or more years of experience in GP medicine including competency in basic internal medicine and spay/neuters is ideal, we would also welcome an enthusiastic new graduate and would be able to offer mentorship.
