Job Description


 

We are looking for a Veterinarian to join our high quality AAHA hospital in suburban Rochester, NY 


Offering: Sign-on Bonus, Retention Bonus, Relocation Assistance, as well as Student Loan Assistance.


Clark Animal Care Center is a well-equipped, AAHA Certified, 4 doctor hospital, when fully staffed, with a large support staff including 9 licensed technicians. Today we are at 3 FT with steady relief assistance. We have a loyal clientele who receives thorough, compassionate care.


We are looking for an Associate Veterinarian who wants to be a part of a collaborative team, practice high-quality medicine and who can deliver excellent care. Interest in surgery or dentistry is a plus!    


We are open to Veterinarians of all experience levels. If you are a new graduate, we offer mentorship at the hospital level as well as one-on-one training with our Mentor Veterinarian via a specialized 12-month formal mentorship program. 

 

Our hospital is also open to a Veterinarian that has a passion or special interest in Veterinary medicine that we may not currently offer.  If you have a special area of interest, we would love for you to bring your knowledge and skills to Clark!

  • Digital dental radiology/high speed drill and extensive dental equipment
  • Soft tissue and some orthopedic surgery

Located in beautiful Finger Lakes region and close to Lake Ontario. Great winter skiing. Adirondack Mountains are 4 hours away. The Rochester area has many art, music, sport and theatre events, including the summer International Jazz Festival. Many great hiking and paddling areas.

Skills and Qualifications:

Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification. License in good standing to practice in New York.
