Veterinarian

Murrysville Veterinary Associates

Job Description

Experienced Veterinarian — Murrysville Veterinary Associates (Monroeville, PA)

Your Next Chapter Starts Here

Are you an experienced veterinarian looking to join a collaborative, compassionate, and forward-thinking team? Murrysville Veterinary Associates, an AAHA-accredited hospital located in the eastern suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a dedicated DVM to join our growing practice.

Why Join Us

Our facility, designed by Animal Arts and built around the Fear Free concept, is more than a hospital, it’s a haven for pets and their people. From separate entrances for dogs and cats to soothing color palettes and gentle handling, every aspect of our space is focused on reducing stress and anxiety for patients and clients alike.

You’ll join a team of six doctors practicing high-quality small animal medicine in a supportive and collaborative environment. We emphasize peer mentorship, professional growth, and open communication. With a 4-day work week and flexible scheduling, we prioritize work-life balance so you can love both your career and your life outside the clinic.

State-of-the-Art Tools & Services

Our practice is equipped with the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies, including:

  • Digital radiography and dental radiography
  • In-house laboratory and diagnostic services
  • Ultrasound, EKG, and blood pressure monitoring
  • Cold laser therapy
  • Exotic animal and reptile care
  • Acupuncture and traditional Chinese veterinary medicine
  • End-of-life/palliative care services

What We’re Looking For

  • A DVM/VMD with a valid Pennsylvania license (or ability to obtain one)
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience
  • Strong communication skills and a desire to collaborate
  • Commitment to Fear Free handling (certification a plus but not required)
  • Comfort with (or interest in) exotic pets and integrative modalities is a bonus

We're also looking for a veterinarian who’s comfortable seeing urgent care cases a few days a week. These prompt care appointment blocks help us manage same day needs and offer clients timely solutions without the chaos of a traditional ER setting. This could be a great opportunity for an emergency vet who’s ready to transition into a more balanced, predictable schedule while still putting their triage and diagnostic skills to great use.

Compensation:

  • Base salary of $120,000-$135,000
  • Production-based bonuses
  • Generous signing bonus

Benefits

  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • CE allowance and paid CE days
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • Paid professional memberships and license fees
  • Relocation assistance (if applicable)
  • And more!
