About Us:
We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, and a closely supervised hospitalization area.

Job Summary:
In addition to the responsibilities outlined below, the Associate Veterinarian is an invaluable member of the hospital team who works directly with a Managing Doctor and supports the medical staff. This individual advances the quality of medicine in the practice and provides exceptional client service to our clients and patients.
Job Responsibilities:
• Build rapport with clients by listening to their concerns.
• Perform high-quality examinations and procedures while minimizing patient stress.
• Communicate with clients about pet diagnosis, treatment plans, and health care.
• Maintain accurate medical and surgical records and logs.
• Stay updated on new veterinary information and practices.
• Assist in developing the paraprofessional team for quality care and service.
• Promote a positive image of the hospital to the community.
Skills and Basic Qualifications:
• Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program (PREFERRED)
• DVM Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which applicant is to be employed.
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
