Are you an enthusiastic, client-focused veterinarian looking to make a difference in a supportive and dynamic environment? Animal Medical Clinic, a well-established mixed animal practice located just 40 minutes south of Corpus Christi, is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team. We welcome both mixed animal and small animal-only Veterinarians. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

About Us:  With nearly 50 years of serving our community, we are a four-doctor, full-service mixed animal practice. Our spacious facility includes 6 exam rooms, a large surgery suite, a dental suite, a modern radiology room, a treatment room, and a barn area. We are equipped with advanced diagnostic tools, including digital X-ray, ultrasound for both small and large animals, in-house Idexx labs, a NEW top of the line hydraulic chute, and more. Each exam room features a 52-inch monitor to display X-rays, live otoscope images, and graphs for clients to view.

About the Role:

  • Open Monday through Saturday; work a 4-day schedule and biweekly rotating Saturdays
  • Provide care for both small and large animals (if desired), including exams, diagnostics, treatment, and surgeries
  • Administer vaccines, medications, and preventative care
  • Interpret lab results and diagnostic imaging
  • Communicate effectively with clients about care options and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team of veterinary professionals and support staff
