Job Description

Botetourt Veterinary Hospital, in Troutville, Virginia (near Roanoke) is actively seeking a Veterinarian to join our growing team. 


We are a well-established, multi-doctor, small animal GP practice near Roanoke, VA.  We are looking for a self-motivated, compassionate candidate capable of providing high-quality medical and surgical care, with ultrasound skills a plus.   Excellent communication skills and a clear understanding of the importance of client education and customer service are necessary.   We have a well-equipped facility with a wonderful, collaborative, and dedicated support staff.   Four-day work week with rotating Saturdays and no after-hour emergencies.

**$100K-$130K Base Salary (varies based on qualifications/experience)

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, or equivalent, from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing
  • Strong medical and soft tissue surgical skills, with ultrasound skills a plus
  • Exemplary communications skills
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, compassionate individual
  • Positively represent the hospital to our clients and community
