Job Description

Summit Veterinary Referral Center in Tacoma, Washington are seeking a Veterinary Anesthesiologist who is excited to build and shape a high-quality anesthesia program within a truly collaborative specialty hospital. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching and elevating LVTs, supporting LVTs in their pursuit of a VTS in Anesthesia and Analgesia, and aiding in building an anesthesia service.  


You’ll join a thriving collegial team that includes a cardiologist performing interventional procedures, surgeons tackling complex surgical cases, and a robust group of three neurologists and four internists who regularly perform advanced procedures.


Our facility is equipped with endoscopic equipment, a fluoroscopy suite, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and digital radiography as well as performing routine balloon valvuloplasty, patent ductus arteriosus occlusion, and transvenous pacemakers. Your new colleagues will include specialists in Oncology, Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Surgery, Neurology and Nutrition, with a complement of 24/7 emergency doctors, all of whom work together to provide the best environment for our clients, our patients, and our staff.
