What you’ll do

  • Provide compassionate patient care and assist with treatments
  • Monitor hospitalized pets and support recovery after surgery
  • Restrain animals for procedures; help with blood draws, nail trims, feeding and bathing
  • Run routine diagnostics (radiographs, bloodwork, fecals) and assist in surgery prep/sterilization
  • Clean and disinfect kennels, exam and treatment areas; maintain inventory and stock
  • Administer medications under supervision, answer phones, and deliver excellent client service

Who we’re looking for

  • 18+ and completed a veterinary assistant program
  • Self-starter, team player, multitasker with strong communication skills
  • Comfortable handling stressed, ill, or injured animals; able to lift 40 lbs independently (assistance for heavier lifts)
  • Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting
  • 1+ year experience preferred but new or recent grads encouraged to apply
