Alamo Animal Hospital in Alamo is accepting resumes for open position on our team. We are looking for an upbeat individual that has experience working in both receptionist and technical roles. Whether part-time or full-time, candidate must be available to work flexible hours including Saturdays. This position is open immediately and requires a strong affinity for working with the public. We’re a three doctor small animal hospital with a well-established team of people that love what we do! We practice high quality general medicine in a clean, easily accessible facility with modern equipment and a fun staff.

 

The duties of this position include and are not limited to: provides excellent and expeditious client experience; greets clients, responds to questions; processes incoming and outgoing pets, and handles payments. Answers phone calls, which may involve answering questions, screening for service needs, and scheduling appointments. Handles incoming and outgoing mail and e-mail. Monitors client waiting area to ensure cleanliness. Documents and maintains client information, service data and other pertinent information within business operations software. Escalates complex matters to senior staff. Assist doctors and technicians with patient treatment and care including patient restraint, IV catheter placement, Digital Xrays, running lab tests and much more!

·         Ability to learn new veterinary assistant skills

 

Applicants with veterinary experience will be given first consideration. Ability to work opening/closing shifts and flexibility with your schedule are both required. We are open 8:00 am to 6:00 pm M-F and 8:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturdays. We are closed on Sunday.

    • Base salary of $19 - $22 Depending on experience
