Job Description
Cross-Training Team Member as Receptionist, Veterinary Assistant and Kennel Assistant.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the doctor with patients
- Surgical monitoring
- Dispensing prescribed medications
- Client education, and overall outstanding customer service.
- Answering multi-phone line system
- Scheduling appointments
- Completing electronic medical records
- Reconcile the cash drawer
- Maintain a neat and tidy work area
- Feeding and walking patients and boarders
- Medicating
- Keeping the boarding facility immaculate at all times
- Bathing
- Trimming nails
- Laundry
Experience:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Patient and caring personality
- Comfortable being around animals (dogs and cats)
- Comfortable handling potential aggressive patients
- Eager to learn from your peers
- Ability to meet the physical demands of this position
- Excellent customer service is a must
- Availability to work weekends, holidays
- Must work well with other team members
- Ability to relate with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Willingness to go the extra mile for our customers and patients.
- Clean work environment is a must
