Experienced Veterinary Assistant Wanted
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Veterinary Assistant to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing high-quality patient care and client support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
- Properly restrain animals for exams, treatments, and diagnostics
- Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under supervision
- Collect and process laboratory samples (blood, urine, fecal, etc.)
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Clean and sterilize equipment and exam rooms
- Support surgical and dental procedures as needed
- Provide clear communication and education to clients
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant
- Strong animal handling and restraint skills
- Knowledge of vaccines, medications, and basic medical procedures
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy setting
- Team-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude
- Excellent communication and client service skills

- Base hourly rate of $15-17 DOE
