Carlsbad Animal Clinic – Carlsbad, NM
Part-Time | Potential for Full-Time Growth
$15–$20/hour DOE
Carlsbad Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced veterinary professional to join our growing single-doctor practice. We are looking for someone with veterinary technician and/or assistant experience who is comfortable helping in both clinical and client service roles.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with exams, treatments, surgery, and patient care
- Restraining patients, collecting lab samples, and performing basic technical skills
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and client communication
- Checking patients in/out and maintaining accurate medical records
- Supporting daily hospital operations and cleanliness
- Educate clients on medications, preventive care, and treatment plans
- Process invoices and payments
Qualifications:
- Veterinary clinic experience required
- Veterinary technician/assistant experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
- AVImark experience is a plus
