Our team is looking for the right veterinary assistant to join our Certified Cat Friendly Practice in fulfilling our ongoing mission of helping cats live longer, happier, healthier lives. General veterinary assistant responsibilities include:

  • Management of boarding and hospitalized patients
  • Performing lab work and other diagnostics
  • Cleaning and maintaining the facility
  • Preparing surgical and medical equipment
  • Admitting and discharging clients and patients
  • Assisting veterinarians and technicians in restraint, treatment, and surgery
  • Filling and administering medications and other therapies
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and other logs
  • Providing client education on various feline topics

Previous veterinary practice is not required for the right personality! Compensation is dependent on experience.
