Job Description

We are excited to welcome an Experienced Veterinary Assistant to Arroyo Veterinary Center.  We strive to maintain great hospital culture and provide excellent care to our patients and clients while having fun!

Qualified individual will be a confident and experienced Veterinary Assistant. Individual must have a strong background in (or be willing to be trained in) anesthesia, dental prophylaxis and radiography, pharmacology, radiology, client communication, laboratory procedures, patient handling & treatments. Physical responsibilities require individual to stand on their feet for 8 hours a day, lift up to 50 pounds safely, manipulate body and extremities to restrain animals, retrieve supplies, and assist with procedures and treatments.

Position is available as full-time (five, eight-hour shifts)  Monday - Friday  8:00-5:00 (closed Weekends) Competitive pay from $22 to $27 depending on experience.
