Veterinary Assistant – Woodmoor Veterinary Hospital

Woodmoor Veterinary Hospital is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our compassionate, dedicated team in beautiful Monument, CO.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior experience working in veterinary medicine (required)

  • Strong animal handling and restraint skills (dogs and cats)

  • Experience assisting with exams, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures

  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology and basic medical protocols

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A positive, dependable, and caring attitude

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting veterinarians during exams and procedures

  • Preparing exam rooms and maintaining a clean, organized hospital

  • Handling and caring for hospitalized patients

  • Supporting client education and patient comfort

  • Assisting with laboratory work, radiographs, and treatments as trained

    • Base hourly rate of $18.00 - $21.00 DOE
    • Eligible for periodic bonus (where applicable)
